Description
Join us at the Fab for a research brown bag lunch with GHC's Senior Researcher Nadya Wells who will present her research: "Using financial analysis to unpack drug development trajectories".
Are you curious about the finances behind pharmaceutical companies and drug development? Nadya analyses publicly available financial statements used to evaluate the commercial viability of firms to unviel secrets of drug development. This is possible as pharmaceutical companies are obliged to publish public financial statements and other investor communications if their shares are publicly traded.
Data can be extracted from these sources to understand drug development trajectories including identifying funders, understanding drug development costs and on and off patent revenue streams as well as changing corporate strategies related to specific therapeutic areas. This research brown bag lunch will focus on identifying data sources, financial analysis tools using case studies from antibiotic development.
Join us for an exciting event where we will dive into the world of pharmaceutical finances.
Nadya's presentation will be followed by a Q&A and coffee chat. Don't forget to register to attend!
