Dr. Claudia Seymour presents The Myth of International Protection: War and Survival in Congo (University of California Press 2019), her book based on a decade of research and practice in and on eastern DRC. A chronicle of how the will to ‘do good’ may be contributing to doing more harm, the book questions assumptions about universal human rights and challenges the concept of international protection.
