Mira Fey.png

Mira Fey (MIS 2015 and PhD IRPS 2019) is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecturer at the Haute Ecole de Travail Social of Geneva.

She is also an external consultant and expert on LGBTQIA+ visibility at the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. Mira has acquired a lot of experience in the higher education industry, think tanks and NGO sectors by occupying research and consulting positions. Her research focuses on forced labour, migration, gender, security, policing, and policy analysis.

Carl Gahnberg (IRPS, 2014) is the Director of Policy Development and Research at the Internet Society (ISOC), a non-profit advocacy organisation, where he is focused on issues related to Internet governance. 
 
In this role, Carl provides leadership to the organization’s global policy development and its partnerships with international and regional organisations, engaging with global policymakers and non-governmental stakeholders on key Internet issues. This includes the organisation’s engagement in various national, regional and international policy processes, as well as contributions to the Internet Technical Advisory Committee to the OECD. Before his time at the Graduate Institute, he completed a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from Lund University, Sweden.
 

Ayushi Parvathaneni Pathipati

Ayushi Parvathaneni Pathipati  (IRPS 2016) is an Associate Manager of Global Policy at Viatris, a global pharmaceutical company.

During her time at and since graduating from IHEID, Ayushi worked at several international organisations including Gavi, GCSP, The Global Fund, Vital Strategies, and NCD Alliance before shifting to the private sector with Viatris. At Viatris, Ayushi supports strategy development and execution of policy initiatives relating to infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, noncommunicable diseases and market access.

 

Raphaël Zaffran

Raphaël Zaffran (PhD IRPS 2016) is Head of Learning, Program Development & Partnerships at the University of Geneva’s Centre for Continuing and Distance Education.

As the Centre’s focal point for international projects, he oversees strategic partnerships with public, private and academic institutions. Raphaël is the coordinator of UNIGE's Distance Learning Taskforce, as well as the founder and host of the LifeLongLearning@UNIGE podcast. While completing his PhD at the Institute, Raphaël occupied various positions at the Institute’s Executive Education department, including Head of region for Central Asia; and Head of customized programs for organizations. Raphaël also worked for the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance focusing on urban security sector reform, and was an affiliated researcher at Open Briefing for five years, providing analysis on Central Asian politics, remote-control warfare and the regulation of private military and security companies. His research and teaching lie at the crossroads between strategic political communication and security policy, with a particular focus on the field of strategic narratives.
