Satoshi araki

Satoshi Araki (IE 2019) currently works on labour market issues as a Junior Economist at the OECD.

During the third semester, he co-authored a technical note with Professor Ugo Panizza for the Inter-American Development Bank. Later on, Satoshi started working at the OECD’s Development Co-operation Directorate as an intern and as a consultant upon graduation. He also worked as a programme officer at the Middle East and Europe Department of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), before returning to his current position at the OECD.

 

Pulkit

Pulkit Bajpai (IE 2020) is a Consultant at the World Bank.

He specifically works in a research group looking at Development Impact Evaluation (DIME) which generates high-quality and operationally relevant impact evaluation research for the World Bank. Pulkit also holds a position of data manager at Resolve to Save Lives, a global public health initiative focusing on cardiovascular diseases and epidemics. During his time at the institute, Pulkit interned at the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research and was a research assistant at Effective Altruism in Geneva.

 

Florian Egli 

Florian Egli (IE 2015) is a Senior Researcher and a Lecturer at ETH Zurich.

After graduating from his master at the Institute, Florian worked in several think tanks, organisations and companies such as the Antenna Foundation in Geneva, E3G, the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment, the Senegalese Ministry for the Environment and Aggrigator Inc., a Silicon Valley startup. As part of his policy engagements, Florian co-founded Expedition Zukunft and TransCap Switzerland and sits on the board of both initiatives. He is a co-founder and editor of the ETH Energy Blog and a Senior Associate at Foraus where he previously acted as vice president and a member of the Swiss Young Academy’s executive board.

 

Divya Rai

Divya Rai (IE 2018) is an independent Fitness and Nutrition Specialist.

After graduating from the Institute, Divya has worked in several international organisations such as ICAN, the ITC, WTO or ILO in the field of research. In 2019, she joined the WOW Skin Science team in Bangalore as an associate brand manager before working at Liv Ezy, an online coaching fitness service.
