The Rare Voices in Economics initiative is a joint initiative by PhD students at the Graduate Institute Geneva, the University of Geneva, the University of Lausanne, and EPFL since 2019.

• Ana Maria Ibanez Professor at the School of Economics in Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) and currently on leave working as Economics Principal Advisor at the Interamerican Development Bank.

During the workshop, we will discuss the most recent literature that documents the diversity gap in the allocation of science and how racial and gender inequalities can limit innovation outcomes and economic productivity.
