The Rare Voices in Economics initiative is a joint initiative by PhD students at the Graduate Institute Geneva, the University of Geneva, the University of Lausanne, and EPFL since 2019.

During the workshop, we will discuss the most recent literature that documents the diversity gap in the allocation of science and how racial and gender inequalities can limit innovation outcomes and economic productivity.
