The Geneva Challenge, supported by Ambassador Jenö Staehelin, invites teams of graduate students from around the world to devise innovative and pragmatic solutions to key international issues. This ninth edition asked students to address the complex issues arising from poverty reduction and how to tackle these challenges in order to foster a holistic global and local development.
The five finalist teams, one per continent, will present and defend their projects in front of the jury members:

- 15:30 - 16:00 Sahaja Project
- 16:05 - 16:35 What a Waste (Water)!
Each presentation will be followed by a session of Q&A with the jury.
The oral presentations will be followed by an Award Ceremony at 18:30 with a keynote speech by Mr. Elhadj As Sy, Chair of the Kofi Annan Foundation Board and Former Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
