Silvia Fernández de Gurmendi is President of the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC). She is also a former President (2015 – 2018) and Judge (2010 – 2018) of the ICC.

This event is part of the Public Lecture Series "Women's Voices in the International Judiciary", organised by the SNF-funded research project "Diversity on the International Bench: Building Legitimacy for International Courts and Tribunals" in collaboration with the Albert Hirschman Centre on Democracy from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
