Synopsis:
In 2021, 26 objects from the Kingdom of Dahomey leave Paris and are returned to present-day Benin. How should these art treasures, stolen from ancestors, be received in a country which has reinvented itself in their absence?

Angelo DAN, Ambassador of the Republic of Benin in France, Deputy Permanent Representative (DPR) of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Benin; 
Didier HOUÉNOUDÉ, professor at the University of Abomey and Deputy Director of the State Ethnographic Collections in Dresden; 
Carine Ayélé DURAND, director of the Museum of Ethnography Geneva; 
Makenzy ORCEL, novelist and poet; 
Patricia SPYER, professor of Anthropology & Sociology, Geneva Graduate Institute.

Chaired by Doreen MENDE, HEAD Geneva and Director of the Research of the State Art Collections in Dresden, and Grégoire MALLARD professor of Anthropology & Sociology and co-director of the CDHM, Geneva Graduate Institute.
