The two-day symposium will provide a unique opportunity to bring central banks, multilateral agencies and representatives of the payment industry together to share their knowledge about the latest advances in innovation and reach of cross-border payment services and discuss policy, institutional and regulatory issues.
The attendees will be officials from central banks, associates of Center for Latin American Monetary Studies (CEMLA), special guests from multilateral agencies, representatives of the payment services industry, and collaborators of the Bilateral Assistance and Cooperation with Central Banks Programme (BCC-SECO) of the Geneva Graduate Institute who work in the area of Payment Systems.
The discussions will cover a broad range of issues for retail and wholesale cross-border payments in the context of developing emerging economies.
This event is jointly organised by the Central Bank of Colombia, the Centre for Latin American Monetary Studies (CEMLA) and the Bilateral Assistance and Cooperation with Central Banks (BCC-SECO) programme of the Geneva Graduate Institute.
The event will have English and Spanish interpretation.
