In today’s digital world, AI can both trigger disruptions and serve as a powerful tool for resilience. This interdisciplinary research initiative brings together scientists and practitioners from around the world to explore the intersection of technology and crisis. By examining how modern computing can help prevent, manage, and recover from upheavals—
including armed conflict, humanitarian
disasters, and societal tipping points—we aim to develop a deeper, more nuanced understanding of its role in shaping a more resilient future.
