The Heart Coherence is a particular state of harmony between the body, the mind, and the emotions. It can be reached by practicing specific, simple yet powerful techniques (breathing and more).
These techniques can have very interesting effects on:
- Stress reduction
- Cognitive capacities (attention, memory)
- Emotional balance
- Anxiety
- Sleep quality
A few minutes of daily coherence practice can reinforce the feeling of self-regulation capacity, that can be valuable for students or employes of the Graduate Institute.
During this workshop, participants will get information about the link between the heart and the brain, and practice exercises to learn how to achieve this self-regulation of the heart-brain state.
Key elements of the workshop:
- Introduction to the fundamental elements of heart coherence
- Guided exercises (sitting, and moving)
- Guided meditation
- Discussion
- Take-home document
