Workshop 1: How to (know your true worth and) live by your values at work
Discovering your true worth as a key to self-esteem, wellbeing and success.
In this workshop, Aline will guide you through self-exploration to discover your qualities and values, and find your true worth. We will be interacting and working with three main questions:
- Can you name your qualities and values?
- Do you know your true worth?
- How to connect with your values on a daily basis to build self-esteem, overall well-being and success?
This exploration and discovery will be a powerful ally in your everyday personal and professional life :)

Workshop 2: Overcoming Imposter Syndrome
Learning how to challenge negative self-talk and let go of self doubt
In this interactive workshop students will learn to intercept negative thinking and learn to overcome imposter syndrome by developing confidence, self-awareness, and practical mindset shifts. Through guided exercises and evidence-based techniques, participants will learn how to reframe self-doubt, embrace their achievements, and step into their potential with greater ease.

Workshop 3: Difficult conversations at work
How to navigate challenging conversations with your supervisor and/or colleagues
This workshop will be a platform for you to share your own experiences and the struggles you might have encountered in communicating at work. We will engage in role playing scenarios and share suggestions as to how to best approach negotiations, noticing different communication styles and navigating them so you feel more confident and more authentic in your work environment.

Workshop 4: Avoiding burn-out in a world that never slows down!
In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore the six domains of resilience and uncover practical strategies to sustain your energy—physically, mentally, and emotionally. You'll identify personalized habits that help you maintain focus, prevent exhaustion, and create a healthier balance between your academic, professional, and personal life. Walk away with tools to navigate high-pressure environments without sacrificing your well-being.

Workshop 5: Harnessing the power of procrastination
Ever find yourself struggling to start the thing? Are you great at making a plan and then struggle to make it happen? Would you like to relax guilt-free? In this introductory workshop, we will
- examine the life cycle of procrastination
- identify key barriers to starting tasks
- build strategies to overcome our unique flavor of procrastination effectively
- establish a collective working toolbox for fellow students
- celebrate our wins
These tips and tricks are brought to you by an IHEID alumna who wished she knew all this while completing her thesis and navigating the job market (all during the 2020 pandemic) !
