Centre for Finance and Development

The Centre for Finance and Development (CFD) aims at contributing to global thinking on the links between finance and development. The Centre serves as an international and interdisciplinary exchange platform aimed at strengthening the dialogue and cooperation among international organizations, academics, and the private sector. CFD provides support to Graduate Institute’s researchers and students who work on finance and development-related topics, and coordinates activities aimed at bolstering Geneva’s role as a major financial centre.

The Centre was created thanks to a generous grant from the Pictet Foundation for Development.
