The discussions at the United Nations on the post 2015 framework provides an opportunity for countries, the private sector and international organisations to coalesce around a series of global goals that will guide the focus on poverty eradication, growth and development for the immediate future.
The architecture of these goals is becoming clearer and what is key is that the role of women's economic empowerment- and youth- including the need to create jobs and opportunities- will be essential.
Arancha González, the Executive Director of the ITC will shed light on the opportunities which the post 2015 discussions provide for all global actors including the role that small and medium sized enterprises will have to play.
This news briefing will be moderated by Dr Theresa Carpenter, Executive Director of the Graduate Institute's Centre for Trade and Economic Integration.
