Psychological and medical support

Are you encountering medical or psychological problems? We are here to help!

At the Graduate Institute

Students have the possibility to meet with a psychologist (member of the Geneva Association of Psychologists, AGPsy) at the Graduate Institute for an orientation session of 45 minutes, which aims to asses the student's concern(s) and facilitate further access to psychological support in "Pôle Sante Social" or another institution according to your needs.

In light of the corona virus situation, it is now possible to arrange follow-up meetings with the psychologists. They will determine the number of meetings needed on a case-by-case basis, for a total of 3-5 sessions maximum. The goal remains to resolve the situation or identify further support resources.

Students may also meet with a counselor from the Student Wellbeing and Support Service on Fridays between 11.00 am and 12.00 pm. An appointment can be required by email via

Your comments on your session with the psychologist or counselor of the Student Wellbeing and Support Service would be appreciated. Please click on the following form for feedback.
