GLOBAL ISSUES, GROUNDED PERSPECTIVES
We approach the study of international affairs and development by exploring how social and cultural life, as well as political and economic practices, are shaped across multiple spatial and temporal scales. Our programmes aim to provide students with theoretical perspectives and methodological tools to explore the social and cultural systems that influence, and are influenced by, policy interventions, especially – but not exclusively – in the field of development and international affairs.
