"I have learnt a lot from this short but fulfilling experience and it has renewed my zeal and passion for international affairs.

Hearing from the various presenters each week gave me hope that there is a possibility to change the global political sphere for the better."

"From this course I will also take with me an amazing networking experience. The welcoming staff and colleagues from different backgrounds and cultures, as well as diverse professors and guests, made a great difference in how we perceived the subject matter.

I am leaving this course with more knowledge on global affairs, more awareness on career prospects and practice, and new life goals, hoping to return to the Institute in the near future."

"Candidly, I was apprehensive about the effectiveness of the programme since it was being conducted online for the first time in the Institute’s history due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, my apprehensions were completely unwarranted since the sessions were not only extensively well-researched but also exceptionally well-presented, despite any apparent logistical constraints.

The faculty members, each a renowned expert in their respective fields, did a stellar job of explaining the broad contours and frameworks of vast subjects like environmental governance, global health and the different paradigms of humanitarianism and security in international relations, all in a very short period of time. These sessions have now given me a strong foundation and a clear direction to understand and approach the field of international relations."
