SDG Portal

More than 150 Graduate Institute faculty, researchers and students are actively working on the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. These activities span all 17 goals, and include research projects, publications, events, teaching, or are part of external initiatives and partnerships.

On the portal you can easily access our work on the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda. This encourages collaboration on work towards achieving the SDGs, both within the Graduate Institute and within broader international academic and policy circles.

Research findings produced at the Graduate Institute can be put to good use in the policy world, where governments, non-governmental actors, scientists, academics, businesses and other actors are grappling with policy options and strategies that support global efforts to reach the SDGs by the year 2030.

You can search this portal by:

  • Goal, from 1-17;
  • Activity type, including research projects, publications, events, teaching, or external initiatives and partnerships;
  • Topic, including financing the SDGs, monitoring and review processes, social awareness and behaviour change, regional / national / local policies, multilateral governance, engagement with the private sector and other non-state actors;
  • People, including faculty, researchers, and students.

The Graduate Institute‘s SDG Portal is edited by Nina Kiderlin and was developed by staff at the Global Governance Centre including Cecilia Cannon, Esther May, and Thomas Biersteker.
