Two Alumni lead Geneva-based Homeland Security firm

Eran Banon and Manuel Wildhaber hold top positions at RedLine Security SA.

RedLine Security SA is a is a Homeland Security company, established in Geneva, Switzerland, providing integrated security solutions to safeguard and manage Critical Infrastructures, Private and Public Organizations. The Company was founded in 2010 by Alumnus Eran Banon.

Eran Banon earned a Master from the Graduate Institute in 1990 with a specialty in military strategy.

Manuel Wildhaber recently joined RedLine as Managing Partner. He holds two masters from the Graduate Institute. The most recent was in international economics in 2007.

Eran began his career after the Graduate Institute in the field of aeronautic security. He later worked at Credit Suisse in the Trade Division before moving to SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance SA) where he was posted in Bangkok as Manager of the Asia-Pacific Economic Affairs Division. Back in Geneva, in 1999, Eran founded “WISE – Whole Internet Solutions for Enterprises”. In 2001, he joined a Swiss company active in risk management, security and inspection, where he held the position of Vice President of the Eurasia Division and became later a member of the Executive Committee before creating RedLine in 2010.

After graduation, Manuel worked at UBS, where he was Strategist within the Global Investment Solutions Group, the subdivision responsible for international multiasset investment strategies and sovereign advisory. Besides his investment experience, Manuel also benefits from a solid knowledge in special operations gained during his military service with the Swiss Special Forces Instruction Center and subsequently with Special Operations Battalion 30, where he was formed and trained as a counterterrorism operator.

Eran Banon will participate in a roundtable on Risk Analysis and Management which will take place at the Institute on Thursday 21 February.
