Scholarships

Through a new alliance with Thunderbird Global School of Management, Alumni from the Graduate Institute will be able to apply for one of three 12'000$ scholarships designated for them.

Next EMBA Intake: August 26, 2010

These scholarships are designed to partially offset some of the tuition cost of attending the Thunderbird Executive MBA – Europe programme and and can range in value from $12,500 USD up to $20,000 USD.

(preference for the highest awards will be given to those alumni who would travel to Geneva for the programme modules) .

Application requirements

Interested candidates are encouraged to reach out to the Thunderbird staff in Geneva soon for an informal discussion about the EMBA programme. To be formally considered for a Scholarship, candidates should:

  • Be an alumnus of The Graduate Institute or its two predecessor organisations (HEI and IUED)

  • Have completed the Thunderbird Executive MBA admissions process and been accepted into the programme for the August 2010 cohort.

  • Submit completed application including the financial need documentation and scholarship essay (available on the program website).

  • Preference will be given to students who are self-financed (not employer-sponsored).

This scholarship cannot be combined with any other Thunderbird Executive MBA scholarships that may be available, but all candidates will be considered for the higher value of two awards, in the event that their profile fits multiple scholarship category criteria.
