Slobodan Djajić received his PhD in Economics at Columbia University, USA. Over his long career, he has taught courses in International Trade, Open Economy Macro, and International Migration at Queen’s University, Canada, Columbia University, and the Graduate Institute in Geneva, Switzerland. His publications in scholarly journals cover a broad range of topics in the field of international economics, with most recent publications dealing with issues related to international migration, such as the effects of migration on source and host countries and the economics of undocumented migration.
Alexandra Brausmann (Vinogradova) received her PhD in Economics from ETH Zürich, Switzerland, and is currently Associate Professor at the University of Vienna, Austria. Her earlier research has focused on international undocumented migration and on the saving behaviour of migrants. Her current research centres on optimal growth and mitigation policies under uncertainty. Her work has been published in leading international peer-reviewed journals.
