Add to Calendar

The event is organised by the Agency for Swiss Development and Cooperation with the Network for Policy Research, Review and Advice on Education and Training (NORRAG) and the Swiss Network for Education and International Cooperation (RECI)

The Education for All Global Monitoring Report (EFA-GMR) is produced annually by an independent team and published by UNESCO. Each year it focuses on a specific aspect of education. The title of the 2012 report is "Youth and Skills – Putting Education to Work". It is devoted to vocational education and training and youth’s transitions to work. The central issue is how to boost young people’s opportunities for decent jobs and better lives, and what role basic education and quality skills development programmes can play.

On 24 and 25 October the report will be presented in Switzerland by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, together with other organisations. The Swiss launch will take place in both Geneva and Bern.
