After years of crisis and turbulence, what is the future of Europe’s financial architecture? A new book, derived from the IMF’s recent financial stability assessment of the European Union, seeks to answer this question.

Join us for an insightful discussion with Luc Everaert, one of its authors, on:

  • Securing a safer financial system for the EU
  • Behind the crisis: macro and micro issues, including ongoing institutional reforms
  • Emerging financial sector infrastructure, including a European banking union
  • The European Commission’s regulatory program for the EU as a whole
  • Europe’s broader challenges in moving forward
