The event discusses the implications of the 4th High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness (in Busan, Korea, late 2011) for international efforts against armed violence and fragility. It brings together speakers from the OECD’s International Network on Conflict and Fragility, the International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding (IDPS), Interpeace, the Geneva Declaration on Armed Violence and Development as well as the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The event will also explore a forward-looking conflict and fragility agenda, especially with regards to trends in armed violence, peacebuilding, and post-MDG development priorities and challenges.
