What does it mean when artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly  governs our liberties? What are the consequences for the people AI is biased against?

The movie Coded Bias denounces the fact that a small homogenous group defines and develops AI. As humans increasingly outsource decision-making to machines, algorithms already shape today’s world and have an unprecedented power to disseminate bias at scale. Coded Bias tells the uncharted story of rebels and misfits leading the fight for ethical use of the technologies of the future.

The film projection will be followed by a discussion with Caitlin Kraft-Buchman, founder and CEO of Women@TheTable.

Join this event organized by the Feminist Collective and the TechSec Initiative. Popcorn will be provided!
