The Graduate Institute Student Association’s mission is to organise academic and social activities that support positive exchanges between students and to represent student interests within the Institute. Each registered student is automatically a member of the Association.

The Amicale Afrique@IHEID

The Amicale was founded in order to strengthen ties with Africa, to help integrate African students and to offer a forum on specific African topics. Events are regularly organised at the Institute (conferences, special weeks, etc.).

Graduate Institute Alumni Association

The mission of the Graduate Institute Alumni Association is to maintain and strengthen ties between alumni as well as to contribute to the Institute’s image. To this end, the Association organises in Geneva and in other cities or countries meetings and events for alumni and helps young students and graduates with their professional orientation by holding round tables and information meetings.

GIMUN - Geneva International Model United Nations

Partner Association

The GIMUN is a Geneva-based association run entirely by students from all over the world who share an interest in and seek to promote the idea of the United Nations, especially among young people. The core event of the GIMUN is the one-week annual conference simulating several United Nations committees.
