MIS - Master in International Studies with specialization in Political Science

The Master in International Studies (MIS) is a two-year programme that will replace the current DEA programme as of October 2006. It is designed for students wishing to develop expertise in Political Science. The programme prepares students for doctoral studies, research and careers requiring strong professional skills in the public and private sectors.

The aim of this programme is to provide students with the analytical tools and the empirical background to understand a wide range of topics, both in the present and in various likely futures. More specifically, the goal of the Master is that anyone obtaining a master from the Institute have a solid grounding in political science, especially in the study of linkages between domestic and international affairs, an overview of the more recurring issues in the field, and a detailed knowledge of one or two substantive topics.
