Course DescriptionThe focus of this course is on the application of more advanced statistical tools to typical research problems in social research, with a focus on topics in international relations. At the end of the course, active participants should be able to understand and critically assess publications in their field using statistical techniques, as well as integrate statistical methodology into their own work.The aim of the course is to provide both knowledge and practical skills with data and statistical software, as well as awareness of both the potential and the shortcomings and limitations (assumptions) of commonly used statistical tools.
