In today’s rapidly changing world, strong analytical skills and the lens of complementary disciplines are essential to understand new dynamics and to design policy. In this perspective, the Master in International Affairs offers:
- a substantial familiarisation with at least two disciplines in international relations, and specialisation in two of the following three innovative themes: Global and regional integration, Security and conflict management, and Global society.
- an opportunity to acquire or enhance the technical and professional skills that are necessary for effective analysis and decision-making, such as quantitative methods, communication and negotiating techniques, and project management.
At the Institute, we are keen on offering the best conditions for independent thinking and collective learning. The MIA programme provides:
- an educational experience based on both small-group seminars and workshops, and larger class settings.
- an opportunity to give free rein to one's creativity and analytical capacity in seminar work based on personal research and in the final dissertation (mémoire).
We are open to the world and value exchanges with international policy-makers and educational partners :
- students can acquire credits through an internship.
- students can spend one semester abroad thanks to exchange agreements with a selection of top institutions across the world.
