Admission Conditions

Thank you for your interest in our programme.

Candidates must satisfy the general admission conditions of the Institute. The complete application file must reach the Admissions Office by 15 January.

If an application for the MIA is to be taken into consideration, the student must hold:

  • a Bachelor’s degree – or a diploma deemed equivalent – in one of the Institute’s four disciplines (law, economics, history, political science); or
  • a Bachelor’s degree in international relations

For holders of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the Institute’s disciplines, familiarity with another of the Institute’s disciplines is a definite advantage. Holders of a Bachelor’s degree in a discipline other than law and social sciences with a high-quality academic record may also apply for the program.

Admission is decided by an interdisciplinary commission on the basis of the candidate’s application file, his or her academic results, motivation, and work experience, provided that it is relevant.
