Effective participation in world affairs requires knowledge and expertise that transcend single disciplines. Building upon our long tradition of the multi-disciplinary study of international relations, the Masters in International Affairs of the Graduate Institute is an innovative two-year programme that prepares students to analyse, think and act with an interdisciplinary perspective.
It offers:
A unique combination of theoretical preparation in economics, history, law and political science, as well as interdisciplinary courses and seminars on selected themes in international affairs and professional workshops.
An international student body.
An ideal location - Geneva - a multicultural city at the heart of multilateralism and of public-private interactions in world politics.
