This multi-disciplinary course introduces climate change, water, land use and resource trends and politics, examining how they modify international affairs and development paths, and exploring the dynamics between natural, societal and economic systems. Lectures from Graduate Institute faculty combine with opportunities to engage with the policy world of International Geneva. The course provides the foundation for students to take advanced seminars in the Environment, Resources, and Sustainability track.
