Florence–Geneva Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
A joint programme of the European University Institute and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies
In the framework of their strategic collaboration, the European University Institute (EUI) and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies have established a two-year postdoctoral fellowship programme which provides to one person each year the opportunity to spend one year at EUI in Florence and one year at the Graduate Institute in Geneva (with a teaching possibility).
This programme enables postdoctoral fellows to strengthen their academic portfolio. Fellows will enjoy superb research facilities (outstanding libraries, shared office space) and be included in the research community at each institution.
The programme is open to persons in law or the social sciences who are within five years from the completion of their PhD, from anywhere in the world, regardless of nationality and including non-EU citizens. Preference is given to applicants who have completed their doctorate within the last three years, and who do not hold a tenured or a tenure-track position in a university.
- Candidates must apply to the Max Weber Fellowship Programme at the EUI
