Biography:

Kazushige is a Research Associate at the CCDP and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Russian International Affairs Council in Moscow. He is also a doctoral candidate in International Relations and Political Science at the Graduate Institute.

Kazushige holds a Master in International Affairs degree from the Graduate Institute and has previosuly studied at Tohoku University in Japan, University of California at Davis/ UC Washington D.C. Center, and Russian Foreign Ministry's Moscow State Institute of International Relations.

Prior to joining the CCDP in 2014, Kazushige has worked for the International Rescue Committee in Washington, D.C., Columbia University's Institute for The Study of Human Rights in New York, the Mitsubishi Research Institute's Strategic Consulting Division in Tokyo, and the Russian International Affairs Council in Moscow.

Kazushige specializes in Eurasian politics and Russian foreign policy and has given a series of lectures at universities and expert talks on radio programs.
