Emilio Rodriguez-Triocci completed a PhD on the Colombian armed conflict at King’s College London (KCL) in 2016. He also holds an MA in Politics (The New School for Social Research) and an MA in Conflict Studies and Human Rights (Utrecht University). His current research focuses on the legalization of conflicts, sovereignty, and transitional justice in Latin America. Previously, he conducted research in Guatemala and Colombia. He was also a Junior Visiting Fellow at the Centre on Conflict, Development & Peacebuilding in Geneva between September 2014 and March 2015. Before pursuing his PhD, Emilio worked at the International Criminal Court, Eurojust, and CICIG.
