Agathe Mora is an Associate Lecturer at University of Sussex. She completed her PhD in social anthropology from the University of Edinburgh in 2018. Her doctoral research focused on the practice of property restitution in post-war Kosovo as implemented by the Kosovo Property Agency (KPA), the administrative, mass claims mechanism put in place by the UN to adjudicate war-related property claims between 2006 and 2016.

Agathe was a doctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology, Halle, Germany, between 2014 and 2015. She is the recipient of a series of doctoral grants, and the winner of the 2015 Royal Anthropological Institute Arthur Maurice Hocart Essay Prize. Agathe has also worked as a consultant for, among others, the Swiss Development Cooperation and USAID.
