Tuition Fees

  • The tuition fee for the LL.M. in International Law for the academic year 2015-2016 is CHF 25,000.
  • A 10% discount is available if the tuition fees are paid prior to 1 September 2016.
  • This includes teaching costs, course materials and use of The Graduate Institute facilities. It does not include travel or accommodation expenses.

Payment Schedule

  • To confirm their admission to the LL.M. Programme, students must pay a non-refundable deposit of CHF 2000 within four weeks of their being offered a place on the Programme.
  • The remaining tuition fees are payable in instalments according to the following schedule:

  • A 10% discount is available for those who pay the entire tuition fee in one instalment prior to the 1 September 2016.
  • A 10% discount is also available for alumni of The Graduate Institute.
  • Please note that all instalments are non-refundable.


Scholarships

A very limited number of scholarships may be available for students enrolled on the LL.M. Programme. Prospective students who require financial support are advised to seek funding, first and foremost, from external sources. Some options for financing the LL.M. Programme through such external sources are detailed in the PDF document linked above. The scholarship application form is available for download here and also during the online application process for the LL.M. Programme.

Chèque formation
  • If you are a Geneva resident and taxpayer, you may be entitled to a "chèque formation", a continuing education scholarship from the Canton of CHF 750.
  • Applications must be made to the Canton of Geneva (see here) and approved before the start date of the programme. Our course reference number is 3214.
