The CAS in Global Health Diplomacy is worth 16 ECTS and is composed of three modules. Click on the links below to explore course listings. Courses can be taken as part of the CAS or stand-alone.

Module 1 - Global Health Diplomacy
This module is mandatory for all participants. It provides insights into today’s landscape of global health diplomacy, organisations and stakeholders involved, venues, instruments and processes. It encompasses the analysis of the dynamics of recent negotiations and highlights current thematic priorities in global health. This module extends over a period of 5 days and can be attended either in English or in French. For more details about each course plese click on the link below.

Module 2 – Two Thematic Tracks
Participants are offered the choice to further build their knowledge in the field of global health and choose between one of the following two tracks:
Track 1: Global Health Instruments and Participatory Processes
This track provides more in-depth knowledge on both the instruments in global health and the characteristics of multi-stakeholder processes. It is composed of a 3-day course on Negotiation of Global Health Instruments and a 3-day Participatory Seminar on Engaging in Multi-stakeholder Diplomacy for Health. Track 2: Negotiating Intellectual Property and Trade for Global Health
This track provides a basic understanding of intellectual property and trade concepts and explores their relationship to global health. Participants have the opportunity to explore other issues linked to global health diplomacy, through the choice of two specialised courses.
