Key Programme Features
Part-time modular and flexible format : Accessible for working professionals from across the globe. A two-week "introductory module" in Geneva provides an overview of the the Oil & Gas sector (waiver available for those with more significant exposure and experience in the industry, upon review of their application credentials). Candidates can then choose either a shorter 2-module programme track or the full 3-module series.
Multi-stakeholder learning teams of participants from public and private sectors, including NOCs, diplomatic missions and multinational firms
Blend of analysis and industry trends, across international oil and gas actors and strategies, international regulations, energy markets, management of giant infrastructure projects, project finance etc.
Engagements with Thought Leaders (both public and private sector), via field visits and a range of experts and guest speakers, taking advantage of Geneva's influence as a hub for trade, financing and governance, as well as the network of IFP School in Paris (from the IEA and leading multinational companies).
Short excursion field trips such as to Brussels (EU Energy governance), the Antwerp Port, to a Refinery and to Vienna (OPEC Secretariat) provide tactile opportunities for the cohort to engage representatives from across sectors
