Emil Eiby Seidenfaden is a Junior Visiting Fellow at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. He is currently working on his Ph.D. project, ‘The Public Legitimisation Strategies of the League of Nations’ which forms part of the collaborative research project “The Invention of International Bureaucracy – the League of Nations and the Creation of an International Public Administration,” funded by the Danish Research Council and headed by Associate Professor Karen Gram-Skjoldager at Aarhus University. As part of his position as a Ph.D. researcher he taught an undergraduate course in the history of international organizations at Aarhus University. His research is based on archival material collected at the League of Nations archives at the United Nations Office in Geneva and focuses on the Information Section of the League of Nations Secretariat.
