Don McCullin: Irreconcilable Truths, a Photojournalist and Exceptional Witness

Don McCullin

Organised with Le Temps and Club Diplomatique de Genève

Auditorium Ivan Pictet
Maison de la paix, Geneva

Don McCullin and his camera have traversed the century. A child of the Second World War and a victim of Nazi bombing, he became a photojournalist almost by chance. Throughout his long career, he has captured poverty, famine, war, devastation and human tragedy all over the world. More recently, he has immortalised the tranquility of Britain’s countryside in winter, and human absence. Through a selection of his photographs, he will share with the public his vast experience of bearing witness to tormented times.

In conversation with Davide Rodogno, Professor of International History, The Graduate Institute and Lisbeth Koutchoumoff Arman, Journalist, Le Temps.

Organised in partnership with Le Temps and Club Diplomatique de Genève.
