Brexit and Beyond: What does it Mean for Britain, the EU and the World?
Richard Baldwin, Professor, International Economics
Maison de la paix, Geneva
Brexit is the most profound change in European economic integration since the Fall of the Wall in 1989. The impacts on the UK, the remaining EU and the wider world are likely to be as important as they are unpredictable. In this talk, Professor Baldwin will lay out how he approaches the issues before joining the participants in trying to puzzle through what the future may hold.
Richard Baldwin has been Professor of International Economics at the Graduate Institute in Geneva since 1991 and Editor-in-Chief of VoxEU.org since he founded it in 2007. He was appointed as President of Centre of Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in July 2016.
