Amrit Bart

 

Dr. Amrit Bart is an Associate Professor of Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources Management in the School of Environment, Resources and Development at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). He also serves as the Director of the Asian Institute of Technology in Vietnam (AITVN).

Dr. Amrit Bart has dedicated two decades of service to Higher Education Development in Asia with his first assignment in Indonesia in 1988 as an ‘International Education Specialist/Advisor’. Education quality and certification of academic services are his areas of interest.

Over the course of his professional career, he has developed and managed numerous high profile development and research projects, served in several scientific panels and delivered keynotes in international conferences.  He has supervised and graduated a large number of doctoral and masters students currently holding important positions throughout Asia and has published extensively with over 100 articles in the areas of his expertise and interest. He has been teaching and supervising masters and doctoral students from Vietnam as well leading research projects in Vietnam for 13 years.  In the last three years, he has been living and working in Hanoi (AITVN headquarters).

 

 

Pham Thi Thanh Thuy

 

Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy is an associate head of the Environment and Development Section, at the Asian Institute of Technology in Viet Nam (AITVN). She has been working for AITVN since March 2005.

Her main areas of expertise are training development and management. She is principally responsible for: i) marketing and promotion of training programs; ii) contacting and negotiation with clients; iii) preparing proposals, quotations and training contracts; iv) following-up training contracts clearance and administration procedure; v) preparing financial budget plan; and vi) assisting Head and key trainers in managing training courses.

Ms. Thuy has been involved in many consultancy and training projects including National Training Workshop on “Water and Sanitation Program” with the World Bank in Viet Nam (May 2009), Management Development Training Program for the Directors and Deputy Directors of the functional departments of The Bank for Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV), funded by World Bank (March – June 2008), Change Management Program for Directors and Deputy Directors of provincial tax offices and key persons of the General Taxation Department funded by the European Technical Assistance Programme for Viet Nam (August 2007-July 2008) and Assessment of Biogas Project – phase 1/ SNV (September – December 2005).

Ms. Thuy obtained her Master of Business Administration in 2008 from the School of Management in the Asian Institute of Technology.


 

Nguyen Bich Diep

 

Ms. Nguyen Bich Diep has been programme officer for the IMAS for more than two years. She is also working as an officer of the Envionment and Development Section, at the AIT-VN. He main duties are planning and preparing promotional activities, organizing administration and managing accounting and budget control.

Before that, she has been working for Meking Economics Ltd as a business development officer and made an internship at Oxfam GB in Hanoi.

Ms. Diep has gained the Bs in Banking and Finance at the Banking Institute of Vietnam, and in Serviced Programme of Foreign Trade at the Foreign Trade University, Hanoi.

 

 

Do Thi Lan Anh

 

Ms. Do Thi Lan Anh is a programme assistant of the Environment and Development Section, at the AIT-VN. Her main duties are arranging logistics for training courses / workshops, organizing administrative works, assisting in marketing and development works and maintaining & developing customer database.

Ms. Lan Anh has gained the Bs of English language teaching at Hanoi University of Languages and Interntional Studies, Vietnam National University.
