Bellagio Group meeting in Toronto

 

While the World Economic Forum takes place in Davos with much media attention the “Bellagio Group” gathers a similarly influential combination of high-profile economists and policy-makers in Toronto to discuss financial regulation. The Bellagio Group unites few academic members and non-academic members that consist of the deputy finance ministers and central bank governors from the G 7 plus Belgium, Netherlands and Switzerland. The group meets once every year to discuss on a confidential basis policy issues of global relevance.		  
   
Prof. Charles Wyplosz of the Graduate Institute belongs to the representatives from academia which participated in the most recent meeting of the group.
