Professor Pauwelyn received the 2009 Francis Deak Award of the American Society of International Law

 

   


Professor Joost Pauwelyn received the prestigious 2009 Francis Deak Award, for his article on “Non-Discrimination in Trade and Investment Treaties: Worlds Apart or Two Sides of the Same Coin?”, co-authored with Nicholas DiMascio. The prize, sponsored by Oxford University Press, was announced during the General Meeting of the American Society of International Law (ASIL) last week and it is awarded to a younger author for meritorious scholarship published in The American Journal of International Law.
