The seminar is for thesis-writing PhD students focusing on macroeconomic issues. It is the first course of a two-course sequence. The course reviews selected area of macroeconomics that are active fields of research, in order to provide support for the students' research. The first half of the class consists of lectures, with presentations and critical discussion of selected articles by the students in the second half.
