Fundamentals of International Environmental Law

This course provides students with a solid understanding of international environmental law. It is structured around three main components, i.e. (I) foundations and principles, (II) substantive regulation, and (III) implementation techniques. The course will focus on the technical and practical aspects of IEL. It is intended to equip students wishing to undertake research in this area of law with the necessary tools to understand the contemporary regulation of environmental problems.
