How to reach us

The main building of the Graduate Institute is located on the shores of Lake Geneva, at Rue de Lausanne 132. We are located in beautiful Park Barton, next door to the WTO building.

 

By plane

Geneva Airport, or "Cointrin", is conveniently located 15 minutes away from the Graduate Institute and downtown Geneva. Buses and trains depart from the airport to Geneva every 15 minutes. Make sure you leave the aiport by the Swiss side (rather than the French).

By train

All trains stop at Geneva's mainline station, "Cornavin", which is about a 15-minute walk from the Graduate Institute.

By bus

Bus n°1 will take you from Cornavin train station to the Graduate Institute: bus stop "Jardin botanique". A one-hour all-Geneva pass costs CHF 3, a day pass (from 9am until midnight) costs CHF 7, while a 24-hour pass costs CHF10.

By car

Parking is availabe at the Villa Barton. Note: visitors MUST always request a Parking Pass (provided free of charge) from the Reception of the Villa Barton, which must be displayed on the dashboard of the vehicle.
