Support the “Maison de la Paix” library
The “Maison de la Paix” will house the teaching and research activities of the Institute. It will therefore be a cornerstone of its development. At the heart of the building will be the library, a place of research where the work of students and faculty will begin to take shape, but also a place where meetings and exchanges will be made possible thanks to the small meeting rooms and social areas that it will also house.
We are now launching a four-year fundraising campaign (2009-2012) to give life to this “nerve centre” of the “Maison de la Paix”. Our aim is to strengthen the library’s collection, which is today one of the most important European collections of literature in the field of international relations and development studies. In order to maintain this position and make it one of the most important in the world, we need to strengthen its electronic resources (subscriptions to online periodicals and access to databases).
We would like to invite you to show your long-term support, throughout the construction of the “Maison de la Paix”, by opting for a cumulative funding approach. Throughout the next four years, we invite you to make several donations, whose value can vary over the period, which will be held in a “Maison de la Paix Library” fund bearing your name.
At the end of each year, you will receive an account statement. Once the building work is complete, you will receive a final statement of account acknowledging your generous donation and inviting you to the inauguration of the “Maison de la Paix”. |
