Practical Information

The Institute provides a unique working environment thanks to the specificity of its mission, the diversity of its faculty, the academic excellence of its students and its location. It is a new institution of higher education and research whose mission is to provide independent and rigorous analyses of current and emerging world issues with an emphasis on international relations and development studies.

About fifty permanent faculty members from a variety of nationalities, university backgrounds and scientific perspectives, offer bilingual courses (French and English) to more than 800 graduate students (Masters and Ph.D.) rigorously selected for their academic excellence.

Ideally located in Geneva, the Institute benefits from its proximity to international, governmental and non-governmental organisations, as well as diplomatic missions, and contributes to intellectual debate and exchanges on all international and global issues.
